"My family had to move to Hartford when I was in the 2nd grade. I was really scared and wished I could go back home where my grandmother lives. I did not like school and did not want to go to school. My mom found about CEO and got me a scholarship. This year I will graduate from the 8th grade and am already accepted at a private high school. I will be the first kid in my family to go to high school. Someday, I will go to college and teach other kids that school is not so bad if you have someone to help you understand. I want to work in the youth center as a teacher. Thank you for helping me find what I will become someday – thank you to my mom and to CEO." CEO Scholar
